MixLab Terms & Conditions

By booking your child onto a MixLab session, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Bookings & Payments

  • A place is only confirmed once payment has been received. Paid bookings will take priority over unpaid or provisional bookings.
  • If MixLab has to cancel a class because the minimum number of bookings has not been reached, parents will receive a full refund for the affected class(es).
  • Missed sessions due to a child's absence or circumstances outside of MixLab's control are non-refundable.
  • If MixLab has to cancel a session due to circumstances such as severe weather or other unforeseen events, we will offer a replacement session where reasonably possible. If a replacement session cannot be provided, parents will receive a refund for the affected session.

Behaviour

  • We want MixLab to be a safe, positive and enjoyable environment for everyone. Children are expected to behave respectfully towards other children, staff and school property.
  • MixLab reserves the right to remove a child from the programme, without refund, if they are found to be bullying, abusive, persistently disruptive or displaying behaviour that compromises the safety or wellbeing of others.
  • Parents/guardians may be contacted if there are ongoing concerns about a child's behaviour.

Health & Medical Information

  • Parents/guardians must provide accurate and relevant medical information during registration and notify MixLab of any changes by email or telephone.
  • Children should not attend a MixLab session if they are experiencing an infectious illness or are not well enough to participate comfortably in the session. Parents/guardians should use their judgement and follow the school's own illness guidance where applicable.

Photography & Marketing

  • Parents/guardians must indicate during registration whether they give permission for their child to be photographed or filmed for MixLab's marketing and promotional purposes.
  • Parents/guardians must notify MixLab if their consent changes by contacting us using the details provided.
  • Children who do not have photography/filming consent will not be included in promotional photographs or videos.

Equipment & Personal Belongings

  • MixLab provides the equipment required for the sessions unless otherwise stated.
  • Children are responsible for taking reasonable care of any MixLab or school equipment they use.
  • We recommend that children do not bring valuable or unnecessary personal belongings to sessions. MixLab cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings, except where required by law.

Responsibility & Safety

  • MixLab will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and appropriate learning environment and will supervise children during scheduled MixLab sessions.
  • Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Programme Changes

  • MixLab reserves the right to make reasonable changes to session content, timetables, staff or equipment where necessary.
  • If a session cannot take place as originally planned, MixLab will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative arrangement where appropriate.
